the design kids at berlin college htw are celebrating their werkschau these days, a multi-faceted insight into their ability to transform their talent into pretty things (books, clothes, photography, game design).

actually, there is so much stuff on display on the premises that an additional warehouse had to be rented to showcase the volume of final works of the communications design bachelor class. the main problem: the industriesalon is a good half mile further down the main road with only little awareness of it being raised on the main grounds.

i went off the beaten path to check out the pieces, which, as it goes, range from dead boring to inspiring to all-out crazy. these pictures (co-produced by class of 14 graduate nora römer) cover just a few of several dozens of works.

the werkschau continues today. exhibitions are open through 8 pm, followed by concerts and dj sets.
