in a fantastically imaginative move of urban redevelopment, vienna’s wien museum, soon to be reconstructed in order to provide grounds for its new permanent exhibition, has transformed the construction site it already is into a skateboard park and a street art show. takeover (open through september 1, 2019) combines hands-on workshops, open walls, and brilliant pieces by some of the city scene’s stars like paul busk, ruin, and rabbit eye movement solo star nychos, who has created major artworks for the museum’s outside wall as well as its patio. these are our favorite shots …
