from the moment she picked up a camera for the first time in the late sixties, sarah moon has been molding her very personal style of photography. highly emotional and uncomfortably intimate, dark and allusive, dreamlike and ominous, the former model’s photographic art has appeared in campaigns across the board, from dior and chanel to comme des garçons and issey miyake, and has been featured in stalwart publications like vogue or marie claire and even the pirelli calendar.

these are some of our favorite shots from now and then, published at kehrer and enhanced by a serious of enlightening interviews. the restrospective which this book accompanies is currently on display at hamburg’s deichtorhallen / haus der photographie. it runs through february 21.
