one of the busiest, liveliest streets of toulouse’s old town, stretching from the majestic capitole and the gorgeous saint-sernin, sports the latest addition to the city’s hotel scenery. next to the basilica, the villa du taur was recently reopened after an enormous remodeling. the boutique hotel features 17 rooms that all have their individual character (we were lucky to get one with a little balcony facing the street) – thanks not least to the art pieces were placed here and all throughout the building. the villa du taur’s own restaurant, the no-frills sixty two, even functions as a gallery of sort, with a focus on pop and street art – including works from local hero mondé. these are our favorite shots…
