considering how many icons opted for it, the small format classic leica must have a lot going for it. it definitely has a touring exhibition which has recently set up shop at c/o berlin. curated by hans-michael koetzle, “augen auf!” (“eyes wide open!”) is telling a story of a visual and conceptual revolution through some 400 shots, many by legends like henri cartier-bresson, bruce davidson, jane evelyn, or anton stankowski. of course, neverleavetheclouds will not just take photos of photos, so here are some impressions from the show which will run through november 1 before moving on to vienna and munich…
