my last trip into the far-out for this year has taken me to a stretch of land wedged between the red sea and the eastern desert of the arabic desert i.e.  the sahara. which means, of course, i am in egypt. there have been bedouins, camels, lots of geriatric golfers, and a trip to an island called “paradise” that has a fence on it to hinder people from moving into mahmya (exegetes should have a lot of fun with that one).

it all comes to an end at the beautiful kempinski hotel soma bay which allows for a full-fletched “picture perfect” post. for more pictures from this trip…
